Open since 1989, the restaurant has been the recipient of numerous awards and nominations, including James Beard Outstanding Restaurant Award, Distinguished Restaurant of North America, Nation's Restaurant News Restaurant of North America and Los Angeles Culinary Master of the Year. In addition to our nightly a la carte menu, Mondays, Mark Peel offers a three course tasting menu served family style and on the third Wednesday of each month join him for his five to six course tasting featuring local produce from the Santa Monica Farmers' Market. **Join Mark Peel each Thursday evening as he shares Campanile's famous grilled cheese sandwiches.   • Private Party Facilities: The Charlie Chaplin room, named for the original building owner is the larger of our two private dining rooms on the second floor. Seating a maximum of 35 guests for a sit down event, or a maximum of 40 guests for a reception it is perfect for business presentations, wedding showers or wine tastings. The Lita Grey room, the smaller of our two private dining rooms on the second floor, is perfect for business meetings or intimate dinner parties. With a boardroom set up it seats a maximum of 18 guests. The restaurant is available for large events such as holiday parties, weddings or Bar Mitzvahs.
